ONLINE ENROLLMENT INFORMATION 2018-19


Enrollment for current and new students is now under way.

All registrations for enrollment/re-enrollment in Madison City Schools is done online.

To access the enrollment/re-enrollment forms, look for the “SchoolMint Online Registration” link below.

It is critical that you re-enroll/enroll your child as soon as possible in order that we can make accurate staffing decisions. Failure to do so can result in higher pupil-teacher ratios.

We have a brief online tutorial to guide you through the process. There is also an address lookup for you to verify your school and a list of required
documents along with an upload feature to load those documents.

Once you have completed and sent your enrollment form through the SchoolMint online registration system, you will receive a confirmation that it has been received. A second confirmation will be sent once registrars have had time to review the records in the verification process.

 Registration for Madison City Schools for 2018-19

Online registration for 2018-2019 is done exclusively online. For questions, please contact Central Office between 8:30-11:30 and 1:00-3:30.

 

State law requires that students be 5 on or before September 1st of the new school year, to enroll in kindergarten.  State law also, requires students be 6 on or before December 31st of the current school year, to enroll in first grade.

Registration Information

Note: Madison City Schools now uses SchoolMint to streamline registration for both new and returning students.  You may login or create an account here: SchoolMint Online Registration.

  • Google Chrome web browser is the recommended browser to successfully use the online registration and re-enrollment for SchoolMint.
  • User Tutorial: To help walk newcomers through the online registration process, our technology team put together instructions with a video https://youtu.be/40l2zwEbzk4. Although this was geared for new registration, those re-enrolling may also find the information helpful. Please note that the only uploadable documents required in re-enrollment is proof of residency as explained in the form
  • Helpful tool: There is an address lookup to find the school that your child will attend. This link is found under the School Zones section. From there, you can click the Address Lookup link. Please note, all addresses will be verified.
  • Notifications: Once you have successfully uploaded and filled out the required fields and submitted your registration or re-enrollment, you will then be notified with an email or text message confirming receipt of registration at your zoned school. You will then receive another notification once our staff has reviewed your documents and verified your address. This notification will state “Registration verified.”
